Founder and Executive Creative Director Wes Townsend brings over two decades of creative direction, executive production, and motion design experience to Garbanzo. Beginning his freelance career with MTV in 2003, Wes cut his teeth designing and animating for global brands including Sony, J&J, and Citibank, and artists including Mariah Carey, Foo Fighters, Keith Urban, and Kanye West.

In 2010, Wes established Garbanzo as a leading motion graphics studio in NYC, expanding further into broadcast design, corporate marketing, and global advertising campaigns.

Today, he continues to lead and direct Garbanzo’s creative and technical teams, supported by a senior roster spanning 2D/3D animation, illustration, concept art, editorial, sound, and development.
